RCMP investigating a green laser being pointed at a small aircraft.
It was reported around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, as the pilot of the two-seater plane noticed the laser on the flight deck.
The plane was flying near Five Islands Provincial Park at 6,500 feet.
The pilot notified air-traffic control, and said it lasted for nearly 40 seconds.
RCMP remind citizens that it’s illegal to point a laser at an aircraft, with jail time and hefty fines if convicted.
