Triple Play benefiting from Smile Cookie campaign

Triple Play is hoping this year’s Smile Cookie campaign at Tim Horton’s is as successful as last year.

Barry Reynard is the coordinator of the program says they raised almost $23,000 in cookie sales last fall.

“Extremely happy with the results within the community with support of community partners, and people that everyday added a Smile Cookie for the benefit of the kids with their coffee break or just taking them home for friends,” enthuses Reynard.

“We’ve got a great crew at Tim’s and we got a great crew on the street, to see how many cookies we can eat in a week!”

Reynard says they will try to top last year’s figure, which was the best ever locally.

“100 percent of the profit goes back to the charity of choice, which is Triple Play.  We’re very fortunate again that Tim Hortons has chosen us once again to represent Tim’s and donate back to the community and to especially help kids out in the region.”

There are a couple of changes to this year’s Smile Cookie Campaign.

The cookies are now $1.50, and the Smile Cookie campaign has been moved to the spring instead of the fall.
