PSAC says bargaining blitz underway with CRA

Around 35,000 Canada Revenue Agency workers remain on the picket lines as negotiations continue.

In a news release, the Public Service Alliance of Canada says sticking points currently include wages and job security.

They are also seeking language in their collective agreement to give members the right to a telework arrangement.

The Union says it has resolved some of the issues related to hours of work and information to be provided to PSAC.

The Union says the bargaining team has entered into a blitz of negotiations with the CRA to try and reach a deal.

Around 155, 000 PSAC workers walked off the job on April 19th, in what was the largest strike in Canada to date.

A tentative deal was reached overnight with Treasury Board employees and around 120, 000 employees returned to their shifts this morning.
