One woman is being treated for her injuries after an early morning collision at the corner of May and Cumming Streets just before 5:30 a.m., which closed down the roadways for a few hours.

Police, fire and paramedics were dispatched and located the injured woman, who was transported to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for further evaluation and treatment.

The Thunder Bay Police Service’s Traffic Unit is now involved in the ongoing investigation. Roadways have since reopened.
