Antigonish beat Liverpool in first game of Don Johnson Memorial Tournament

The Antigonish Bulldogs rode an explosive second period to victory in their first game of the tournament.

Bradley Armstrong scored twice and added an assist while Zachary Lorette picked up a goal and an assist for Antigonish in the game. Meanwhile, Malcolm Bussey scored a goal and tallied two assists for the Privateers. Andrew Murray also scored for the Bulldogs, and Aaron Lane and Dylan Patterson provided the rest of the goals for Liverpool.

The Bulldogs will face the Kensington Vipers today at 4 p.m. in their second game of round-robin action.

the game will be played at Queens Plce Emera Centre i Liverpool, Nova scotia.
