A Nova Scotia man is dead following an accident in East Chester.

The 39-year-old is believed to have been riding his dirt bike on Hwy 3 when it left the road and ejected him into a nearby ditch.

The RCMP learned yesterday morning that the man had not been seen or heard from since April 21, and that his dirt bike was missing as well. They found the man’s body along with the bike three hours after beginning their search. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation remains ongoing.
