The ImaginAIR Festival is returning to Dieppe this summer with a host of colourful activities celebrating kites and the circus.

The three-day family event will offer a host of activities surrounding the theme of kites at Dover Park from July 28-30.

Kite flyers from all over the world and talented circus performers will entertain the crowds during the festivities.

“We’re excited to return to Dover Park this summer with this extremely popular event,” said Jonathan Desroches, community officer with the City of Dieppe.

“A number of kite flying- and circus-related activities are planned, including workshops and music for both young and old. Also back are the ever-popular night flying sessions, as well as the must-see Windjammers.”

New to the festival this year is an evening drone flight show.

The flight is the first of its kind in the province and is meant to replace the traditional fireworks, in an effort to make the festival more environmentally friendly.

The full program will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
