Thunder Bay area families are advised that due to the conditions, all rural school bus transportation is cancelled today.

A number of schools will also be closed. The list as of 6:20 a.m. includes Kakabeka, Crestview, Gorham and Ware, Valley Central and Whitefish.

More flurries are expected throughout the day and drivers are asked to keep a close eye on conditions. More closures may be possible.
