By Brad Perry Apr 21, 2023 | 6:30 AM

New Brunswick drivers are ending the week paying a bit less at the fuel pumps.

Fuel prices dropped Thursday night when the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board reset prices.

The new maximum price for regular self-serve gasoline is $1.71 per litre, a drop of 5.4 cents.

Diesel prices fell by 4.1 cents to a new maximum of $1.68 per litre.

Most local stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.

Meanwhile, heating oil prices are down by just over four cents to $1.50 per litre — the lowest price in more than a year.

The price for propane increased by half a cent to $1.09 per litre.

Fuel prices are reset every Thursday night in New Brunswick.
