Police say three people have been taken into custody after an operation in east Saint John.

Officers executed a search warrant on Kingfisher Road in Morland Park on Thursday morning.

“Residents on Kingfisher Road and Robin Court are asked to remain inside their residences,” police said in a social media post just before 10 a.m.

Police also closed several nearby streets, including Majors Brook Drive between Consumers Drive and the entrance to Parkway Mall.

In an update just after 11 a.m., police gave the all-clear and said the operation had concluded.

“All streets are now open and residents are no longer asked to remain in their homes,” said the update.

Police remain on the scene as the Major Crime Unit continues to investigate.

No injuries were reported by police during the incident.
