Last night’s hit of snow has caused a few road closures in northwestern Ontario today, and travelers on Highway 17 are asked to keep a close eye on its conditions today.

Highway 17 has reopened between Shabaqua and Ignace, as of 9:50 a.m. CST.

Residents are also advised that Highway 622 is closed in both directions between Ignace and Atikokan due to road conditions.

Conditions are expected to continue to be slick today with more potential flurries in the forecast.
