A tragic end to a search for a missing boater in Digby County.
The man’s body was recovered last night, according to RCMP.
Emergency responders, divers and more had been looking for the man in Eel Lake, near Saulnierville Station since Friday afternoon.
Police say there was a boating collision that afternoon, one man was rescued.
Reports say it was not related to the large canoe rally event held in the area that day.
Update - 9:17 p.m. Sunday: The man who was reported missing in the area of Eel Lake has been found deceased. The investigation into the boating collision is ongoing; more details will be released when available. Our thoughts are with the man's family at this difficult time.
