Northwestern Ontario’s racing fans can look forward to a summer season filled with action at the Lake of the Woods Speedway.

The Speedway released its 2023 schedule this week. Things are expected to kick off on July 2 and wrap up by September 10.

Fans will be able to see the WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds, WISSOTA Pure Stocks and 4 cylinders on the 1/3-mile oval track at 556 Jones Road – with two Street Stocks special features planned.

– Sunday, July 2 – Season Opener – WISSOTA Modifieds Special – 4:30 p.m.
– Sunday, July 9 – Phil Boisjoli Memorial – WISSOTA Pure Stocks – 4:30 p.m.
– Sunday, July 16 – WISSOTA Street Stocks Special – 4:30 p.m.
– Sunday, July 23 – Meet the Drivers – Races 4:30 p.m.

– Saturday, August 5 – Dinner Jacket Classic Series #1 and the Bruce Krawicki Memorial with the WISSOTA Modifieds – 5:30 p.m.
– Sunday, August 6 – Dinner Jacket Classic Series #2 with the WISSOTA Modifieds – 5:30 p.m.
– Sunday, August 13 – WISSOTA Street Stocks Special – 4:30 p.m.
– Sunday, August 27 – Track Championships – 4:30 p.m.

– Sunday, September 10 – Season Finale – WISSOTA Street Stocks Special – 4:30 p.m.
