The driver of a tractor trailer unit, a 24 year old from Brampton, which smashed through two homes in Beardmore last month has been charged with careless driving.

The incident occurred on March 17th just before 1:00 a.m. when the truck traveling on Highway 11 through the community left the roadway and crashed through two homes.

Remarkably even at such a late hour the only person injured in the collision was the driver.

They were transported by Superior North EMS to hospital in Nipigon with undisclosed injuries.

The accused is set to appear in a Greenstone court at a later date.
