Former President Trump indicted in New York

Donald Trump has been indicted.

A grand jury in New York completed the vote Thursday, as the former U.S. President faces charges stemming from his 2016 run for the White House.

He’s reportedly facing over 30 charges related to business fraud, including payments to adult-film star Stormy Daniels and an ex-Playboy model to cover up sexual encounters.

A report by the Associated Press says Trump was asked to surrender by Friday, but more time is needed for the Secret Service to install proper security measures.

It’s the first time that a former or current U.S. President has faced criminal charges.

CNN is reporting Trump will appear in court on Tuesday.

In a release shortly after the indictment, Trump said it’s the next step in the campaign from the left to destroy the ‘Make America Great Again’ movement.
