The long-time General Manager of the Mooseheads will be part of a Program of Excellence Management Group for Hockey Canada.
Cam Russell will be part of a team of 3 for the 2023-24 season.
He will lead the under-18 program through the 2023 Hlinka Gretzky Cup.
Russell spent 22 seasons with the Mooseheads with the last 15 as General Manager of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL).
He also played 396 games in the NHL over ten seasons with the Chicago Blackhawks and Colorado Avalanche and won two Presidents Cup championships with the QMJHL’s Hull Olympiques.
