It’s been eight years since the Pool 6 site plan was originally put together.

City Council will be getting a presentation on the updated plan on Monday.

Kayla Dixon, who is the Director of Engineering for the city, notes that with increased cruise ship traffic space that was originally planned for a public field will be used for the boat traffic.

Also in the original plan was a Nordic spa, however in the years since then there has been little interest from businesses to manage it.

The goal is to also connect the waterfront walking path that’s been developed over the past few years.
