If you know someone special working in healthcare this can show just how much they are appreciated.

Nominations are open the Cape Breton South Recruiting for Health awards.

It’s the second year for the award program to acknowledge their work and service to our communities.

The awards go to healthcare workers in Port Hawkesbury and Richmond and will be handed out next month.

All residents are invited to consider the healthcare workers in Cape Breton South who they feel should be acknowledged for extraordinary contributions they have made in our communities.

These contributions will include:
– Providing exceptional care to patients
– Helping community members to navigate the healthcare system
– Providing support to coworkers and other employees in our facilities
– Going above and beyond to make the day of a resident in long term care
– Volunteering their time with an organization that promotes health and wellness in our communities
– Demonstrating outstanding commitment to their field of work
– Working as a team to improve healthcare delivery

The deadline to submit is March 22.
