Up to 25 centimetres of snow could fall in our province, with higher totals more likely in Eastern Nova Scotia.
Snowfall warnings are in effect for Guysborough, Richmond and Cape Breton-Victoria counties.
Wind warnings have been issued for Yarmouth and Shelburne counties, where the storm is expected to be mostly rain.
The bad weather should begin later this morning into the afternoon.
