Another big name in comedy is coming to Halifax!

Emmy and Grammy nominated Bill Burr will headline the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival, Sunday August 13.

He made history as the first comedian to perform at Fenway Park in Boston, last August.

His Monday Morning Podcast is one of the most downloaded and his arena and amphitheater tour, Slight Return, went across North America in 2022.

Bill Burr’s performance will be a phone-free experience. When you arrive at the event you will be given a Yondr pouch and at 6:00pm you must place your phone, smart watch and accessories in it and lock it.
This process will be monitored by security and event staff. If you want to use your phone, there will be a designated area, and once you’re done, you’ll have to put your devices back in the pouch.

Event staff will unlock your Yondr pouch as you exit the grounds. If you’re caught using your devices, they’ll escort you out.

Burr will join Jerry Seinfeld as a headliner to the festival, that runs August 11-13.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 10:00am ADT, and prices start at $69. VIP reservedseats are also available complete with table service, early entrance to the grounds and more.
