The Municipality of Chester is excited to announce the launch of the 8th Annual Best of Chester Business Awards, a program designed to recognize and celebrate the achievements of local businesses and non-profits. The nomination period will run from March 9th to March 23rd, 2023, and the public is encouraged to participate by nominating their favorite businesses in 23 different categories.

Warden Allen Webber expressed his enthusiasm for the program, saying, “Our small business community is the backbone of our local economy. These awards are a fun way to show them how much we value and appreciate their hard work.”

The nomination round will be followed by a voting round where the top three businesses (plus ties) in each category will compete. The voting period will run from March 30th to April 20th, 2023. Winners and runners-up will be announced on April 27th, 2023.

Nominations are limited to one submission per category, per device, and are open to all eligible businesses within or with an office located in the Municipality of Chester boundary. Categories include Best Artisanal Retailer, Best Farmers’ Market Vendor, and many others.
