The Yarmouth Mariners go for their 40th win of the season tonight in Pictou County.

They haven’t posted 40 in a season since 2008, when they won their first MHL championship.

It’s the second to last game of the season for Yarmouth, they’ll host the Crushers Saturday night.

If things stay the way they are in the standings, the teams would also meet in the first round of the playoffs.

Yarmouth has locked up first overall in the MHL, while the Crushers sit in fourth place, four points behind Valley.
