By Allan Dearing Mar 7, 2023 | 5:25 PM

A majority of New Brunswickers who took part in a recent Narrative Research poll have expressed dissatisfaction with the provincial government.

Six in ten or 56 percent are not satisfied which is actually down slightly from the last survey three months ago.

The greatest support for the Progressive Conservatives comes from the southern part of the province with higher dissatisfaction in northern New Brunswick and in the Moncton area.

The PC’s and the Liberals now have a similar level of support at 37 percent and 35 percent respectively, with 17 percent support for the Green Party and 9 percent for the NDP.

In the preference for premier, Liberal leader Susan Holt has 23 percent support (down slightly from three months ago) while PC leader Blaine Higgs saw his popularity rise to 22 percent and Green Party leader David Coon garnered 15 percent support.

Narrative Research surveyed 450 adult New Brunswickers by telephone from February 7-25.
