No students were injured but the driver of a pickup truck which rear ended a school bus on Pole Line road sustained minor injuries and faces charges as a result.
Thunder Bay Police responded to the incident shortly before five o’clock Monday evening.
The bus had stopped with its lights activated to drop off a student.
The charges come under the Highway Traffic Act.
Motorists have been asked to slow down, be aware and not pass school buses while their lights are activated during a blitz this past fall, when incident rates skyrocketed.
