A Halifax taxi driver has been charged with sexual assault.

Halifax Police say they got a complaint from a woman on January 7th.

She told them the driver picked her up at the airport, and on the way to Halifax he sexually assaulted her.

The 48-year old man was arrested on February 24th and will appear in court at a later date.
