The NorWOSSA hockey finals get underway on two fronts.

The boys gold medal series starts in Fort Frances as the Muskies host Beaver Brae.

Game two will be back in Kenora Friday afternoon, and game three if necessary will be in Fort Frances.

In the girls final, the Dryden Eagles host the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints this afternoon in game one of their best-of-three final.

Puck drop is at 3:30.

Game two will be in Kenora on Friday and game three, if necessary will be back in Dryden Sunday afternoon.

The winners will advance to the OFSAA championships.

A couple of games in the SIJHL tonight.

The Fort Frances Lakers are in Thunder Bay to take on the Kam River Fighting Walleye and the Thunder Bay North Stars are in Dryden.

Last night, the Red Lake Miners doubled up the Sioux Lookout Bombers 6-3.
