Team Brown has won the year-end Skins Bonspiel for the Sunday Night Open Curling League.

The bonspiel was held this past weekend on rink #2 of the Dryden Memorial Arena.

In a skins bonspiel points are earned each end of each game and accumulated over 3 games. T

he team that accumulates the most points wins the bonspiel.

Team Brown  won by a point and is comprised of Wayne Grandmont, Wade Meeks, Stewart Brown, Doug Hammond.

Meeks throws skips rocks and says “as 2 time bonspiel champions now, we are really excited to get this win”.

During the curling season (Oct-Feb) the Dryden arena staff convert hockey ice to curling ice for use Sunday night and for seniors Monday morning.

The Sunday Night League is an Open format meaning men, women, junior, seniors, and families can all play in the league.
