Helping to Reduce Fire/Carbon Monoxide Deaths

More smoke and carbon monoxide detectors to be handed out in the Rainy River District.

Volunteer fire departments in Chapple, Emo and LaVallee will distribute 258 combination unit within their communities.

The units come from Enbridge Gas.

It’s part of a $250 thousand investment Enbridge is making to fire departments across the province.

It goal is to reduce the number of deaths related to fire and carbon monoxide.

The Fort Frances Fire Service received a similar donation last month
