With a snowstorm on the way, the city is enforcing the winter park ban tonight.

It starts at 1am and ends at 6 tomorrow morning.

You’ll have to park your vehicle somewhere other than the street so the city can properly clear the roadways and sidewalks.

The city recommends automated notifications to stay informed, by signing up for hfxALERT, checking halifax.ca/snow for updates, or by calling 311. Subscribers to hfxALERT will receive timely alerts by phone, email, and/ or text message when the ban is in effect and again when it is lifted. Standard text messaging rates apply.
