By Brad Perry Feb 12, 2023 | 10:51 AM

Diesel prices are back below $2 per litre in many parts of New Brunswick.

The Energy and Utilities Board invoked its interrupter clause early Saturday.

The new maximum price was set at $2.03 per litre, a drop of 19.6 cents.

Most local stations are now selling diesel for just under $2 per litre.

Diesel prices saw a similar drop the day before for a total of more than 37 cents in two days.

Meanwhile, heating oil prices also fell 18.5 cents on Saturday to a new maximum of $1.82 per litre.

Gasoline prices remain unchanged, with the maximum price for regular self-serve at $1.59 per litre.
