The Kenora U18 AAA Thistles kick off a back-to-back against the Brandon Wheat Kings this weekend at the Kenora Recreation Centre.

Games start at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, before a Sunday matinee at 1:30 p.m.

Brandon sits second in the 12-team league, while Kenora has dropped to 11th.

First the Red Lake Miners are in Thunder Bay looking to improve their lead over the North Stars in the standings,

Next the Kam River Fighting Walleye take on the Dryden Ice Dogs.

Those two teams are fighting for first place in the standings, with the Fighting Walleye having a four point lead with a game in hand.

Finally, the Sioux Lookout Bombers have hopped the border to pay a visit to the Wisconsin Lumberjacks.
