All-Star Hockey Game To Raise Money For Yarmouth Youth

A hockey game in Yarmouth will raise money for a good cause.

The Pleasant Timber Mart Gentlemen’s League Charity All-Star Game goes this Saturday at 5:30 at Mariners Centre.

Funds raised will go to Aidaen’s Place, who help youth in the community.

Co-organizer Josh Foote says there will be players from each team taking part.

“So there’s Barrington, Pubnico, Woods Harbour, three Yarmouth teams, and a team in Clare. We’ll have players from each team, then we’ll do Division 1 vs. Division 2. It should be a great game,” says Foote.

He says there will be raffles, 50/50 and more, and a draw for a generator.

There is no admission fee, but donations will be accepted at the door.
