It looks like a strike at Cape Breton University is soon ending.
According to the university, a tentative agreement has been reached with the union that represents faculty members.
In a release, CBU says their Board of Governors has approved the agreement, and a ratification vote is planned for later today by the union.
The workers went on strike on January 27th, demanding better pay.
A conciliator led talks this past week between the two sides.
Cape Breton University and the Cape Breton University Faculty Association have reached a tentative agreement.
