A 29-year-old Fort Frances man is facing a long list of charges after a drug seizure earlier this week.
OPP searched a home in the 400 block of Nelson Street on January 31.
During their search, officers found roughly $35,000 worth of fentanyl, methamphetamine and hydromorphone capsules, items associated with drug trafficking and several weapons.
As a result, the 29-year-old was arrested and charged with:
* Possession for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine,
* Possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine,
* Possession for the purpose of trafficking – hydromorphone x 2,
* Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000,
* Possession for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl,
* Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose,
* Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000,
* Unauthorized possession of a weapon,
* Possession of a firearm, ammunition contrary to prohibition order,
* Failure to comply with probation order x 2.
The man remains in custody and is scheduled for a bail hearing on Friday.
Four days earlier, the same man had been charged in connection with an incident at a local motel where another person was assaulted and taken to hospital for treatment.
