Saint John police say a 43-year-old man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant has been arrested.
James Chatwin was accused of breaching the conditions of statutory release when the warrant was issued for him in December.
On Thursday, police said Chatwin had been arrested the previous day by Sussex RCMP.
Chatwin is serving a sentence of more than two years for a number of charges, including:
- one count of motor vehicle theft;
- four counts of failure to comply with an order;
- six counts of theft under $5,000;
- one count of failure to attend court;
- two counts of obstructing a peace officer; and
- two counts of failure to attend court.
