OPP Keep Busy on Area Roads

OPP across the Rainy River District responded to 198 calls for services during the week ending January 15.

Fifteen per cent related to the issuance of eTickets.

Police were also called upon to deal with twelve motor vehicle accidents and seven traffic complaints.

There were also nine reported thefts, eight domestic disputes and six drug offences.

OPP laid a total of thirteen charges under the Criminal Code and twenty under the Highway Traffic Act.
