Saint John Bakery announced Sunday on social media that it is taking an “operational pause.”

Owner Stuart Howe said the pause will give them time to sort out their operations.

“I want to thank each and everyone of you who has supported us, especially over the last couple of very, very challenging years,” said Howe’s post.

“We will update you here shortly with a decision.”

Saint John Bakery currently has three locations in Saint John, including one at the City Market, and operates the Village Square Bakery in Grand Bay-Westfield.
