A rainfall warning will wash away a lot of that snow you did not get around to shovelling.

It’s in place for most of the province and between 25 and 40 mm is expected to fall on Monday.

However, in northern communities such as Colchester and Cumberland Counties and through the Cobequid Pass up to 25 centimetres of snow is in the forecast.

Its forced schools in that region to cancel classes.
