Snowfall Warning For Southern N.B.

The cleanup is barely finished from the last storm and now another system is on the way.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for most of southern New Brunswick with at least 15 to 20 cm expected.

Neighbouring areas are under special weather statements with 5 to 15 cm possible.

Along the immediate Fundy coast, snow may change to a period of ice pellets briefly on Monday.

The weather office says the snow will begin later tonight and will intensify by Monday afternoon with impacts likely for the morning and afternoon commutes.

Snowfall Warnings (15-20 cm) issued for the following areas as of 3 p.m. AST:

  • Moncton and Southeast New Brunswick
  • Sussex – Kennebecasis Valley and Kings County
  • Saint John and County
  • Fundy National Park

Special Weather Statements (5-15 cm) for the following areas as of 3 p.m. AST:

  • Kent County
  • Kouchibouguac National Park
  • St. Stephen and northern Charlotte County
  • Grand Manan and coastal Charlotte County
  • Grand Lake and Queens County
  • Oromocto and Sunbury County
