The boys’ team lost 4-1 to Greenway.
Our the court, the Muskies junior boys basketball team lost 50-48 in Kenora to the Beaver Brae Broncos
The seniors lost 44-36.
In International Falls, the Broncos varsity boys team lost to Mesabi East, 80-28
The juniors won 54-51 on a last-second three-pointer.
In girls’ action, the Broncos varsity team lost 70-31 to Ely.
The juniors fell 41-29.
The Fort Frances Lakers host the Dryden GM Ice Dogs at 7:30 p.m. at the Ice for Kids Arena.
The two teams will again play Saturday night in Dryden.
The Fort Frances Muskies host a four-team girls’ hockey exhibition showcase at the Duke Arena in Couchiching.
The first game is at 3 p.m. today against the Dryden Eagles.
The Thunder Bay Queens and Winnipeg’s St. John’s-Ravenscourt are also playing.
U11 hockey teams are taking over the Memorial Sports Centre for a tournament this weekend.
The medal games take place on Sunday.
A pee-wee tournament happens in International Falls with the Fort Frances Canadians U11s also involved.
