The Weekender: Coach Barron On The First-Place Yarmouth Mariners

By Kevin Northup Jan 19, 2023 | 12:39 PM

The Yarmouth Mariners are in first place in the MHL, winners of seven straight ahead of their weekend games. I’m joined by Head Coach Laurie Barron and co-captains Kieran Burke and Ben Roode to talk more about the season and plans ahead.

The Eastern Canadian Fisheries Expo is coming back to Mariners Centre next weekend. Show Manager Shawn Murphy tells us what to expect at the event on January 20th and 21st.

And there are lots of winter programs to help keep you active in our community. Matt Smith with Yarmouth Recreation stops by to talk about them, and how you can get involved.
