Rain on the way today and tomorrow for mainland Nova Scotia.
Up to 80 millimetres could fall between now and tomorrow evening.
Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning.
They say with the ground still frozen, the ability to absorb the rain is reduced.
This could lead to flash flooding and water pooling on roads.
The storm is beginning as a rain/snow mix in Western Nova Scotia.
