Argyle MLA Pleased With Highway 103 Improvement Plan

A much needed upgrade for a section of Highway 103 in Argyle.

In 2025, construction of a new interchange for Exits 32 and 32A will begin.

It’s part of the province’s five-year Highway Improvement Plan announced last week.

Argyle MLA Colton LeBlanc says it’s something that’s been on his radar since he was elected in 2019.

“For years, I’ve heard from residents their concerns about this dangerous section of highway. I’ve been advocating for an improvement and long-term fix,” says LeBlanc.

He says with a long-term nursing home, a school and a park off the exits, it’s an important investment.

“I’m very happy that our government has committed to the interchange. It will bring peace of mind to residents and travelers in that area.”

It’s expected to be a multi-year re-development.
