Halifax District RCMP are asking the public for information on a robbery in Porter’s Lake early this morning.

Just before 5am RCMP responded to a report of an armed robbery at a gas station at the intersection of Highway 7 and Highway 107 Access Rd.

Two men allegedly entered the convenience store, showed a knife and demanded money before fleeing the scene on with foot cash, lotto tickets, tobacco products.

The suspect man is described as white, wearing a brown jacket, black tuque and winter gloves.

The second as white, wearing a black hoodie, winter gloves and had a red bandana covering his face.

The employee was not injured.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call Police or Crime Stoppers.
