A 21 year old woman has succumbed to injuries she received during a motor vehicle collision last month on the Thunder Bay Expressway.

On December 16th shortly before 7 p.m. first responders were called to a serious three vehicle collision on Highway 11-17 between John Street and Oliver Road in Thunder Bay.

Several occupants were taken to hospital as a result of injuries including, Sarah Rittau of Devlin, who succumbed to her injuries in hospital on January 2nd.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation and anyone with information that would assist investigators are asked to contact the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
