A case of counterfeit money was among the occurrences OPP in the Rainy River District dealt with last week.

The incident is identified among a list of 180 calls for service requiring police attention.

OPP also dealt with four family disputes, three domestic disputes, three sudden deaths and three drug offences.

A total of 15 charges under the Criminal Code were also laid.

OPP also wrapped up the final week of their Festive RIDE campaign with 40 checks conducted.

One driver was nabbed for impaired driving.

There were also ten motor vehicle accidents across the district.

OPP also laid ten charges under the Highway Traffic Act for various infractions
