A gastrointestinal outbreak at Rainycrest Long Term Care in Fort Frances is over.

The outbreak was declared on December 23.

Riverside Health Care had stated at the time of the outbreak, it was isolated to the home’s west wing, prompting limits on visits to residents.

Those measures have now eased, though other measures remain.

This includes having to wear a mask in common areas and visitor surveillance testing protocols.

Riverside reminds you that if you are not feeling well, don’t visit the facility until you are better.
