A pair of wins on the ice for the Fort Frances Muskies.

The boys’ hockey team raised their NORWOSSA win streak to six games with a 7-1 win over the visiting Beaver Brae Broncos.

The two teams were tied 1-1 after the first period before the Muskies opened up with five unanswered goals in the second.

Ashton Barnes, Teagan Wrolstad and Quinton Lepage each scored twice.

Noah McPherson notched the other marker.

The Muskies girls’ team rolled to an 8-0 win in their game with the Broncos.

Raelle Redford with three goals in the game.

Kiera Fairington and Marlee Bliss each scored a pair of goals, with Piper Cross scoring the other.

Danielle Schramm was in the net for the shutout.

 

The International Falls Broncos boys basketball team fell 48-44 to the Lake of the Woods in Baudette.

Landon Budris led the Broncos with 16 points.

 

Michael Sobkowich in diving and the 200 and 400-yard freestyle relay teams picking up third-place finishes for the Broncos boy swim and dive team at a meet in Grand Rapids.

The Broncos finished in a third-place tie with Proctor for points.
