A new face will head Koochiching County’s Board of Commissioners for the next year.

Jason Sjoblom will serve as board chair. A new face will head Koochiching County’s Board of Commissioners

He was unopposed in a bid for a second term in office last November.

Newcomer Destryn Hell will serve as vice-chair and chair of the Koochiching Development Authority.

Ricky Roche was elected vice-chair of the KDA.

Hell and Roche won seats in last November’s County elections.

The elections were held as the KDA and Board held their first meetings of 2023 on Tuesday.
