Gasoline, diesel and heating oil prices are all ending the year on a higher note.

Regular self-serve climbed 6.4 cents to a new maximum price of $1.58 per litre.

While diesel went up 5.2 cents and is now selling for a maximum of $2.14 per litre.

Most local stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.

Meanwhile, heating oil is now selling for a maximum of $1.94, an increase of more than five cents.
